So I've got Betty (my female Betta) in what is now a community tank (10G), and it seems that she has some goat genes in her: she eats EVERYTHING.

For the last week or so, I've given up trying to feed her her pellets, because she'll eat those, then continue chowing down on the flake for the other guys - she gets very bloated, and I worry.

My question is this: is she missing anything nutritionally important if I stop feeding her the pellets?

id say not. i have a male that refuses pellets even though ive tried my darndest to get him to eat them (mainly for my own ease as all other boys eat pellets). hes just as healthy and active as the rest.
as far as her bloating, it could be caused by 1 of 2 things. either she is eating too much dried food or shes eggy. not much you can do about eggy females. but for her bloat, feed the tank some cooked, deshelled chopped up peas. most fish LOVE them and it will help her to not become constipated (something bettas are quite prone to). also cut back the amount you are feeding the tank until her bloating goes down.
cheers

I'd say there's nothing to worry about; if you're worried about her missing some nutritional value, then simply mix in a bunch of freeze-dried bloodworms and plankton (there's others, but I use those.... well, actually 'cause I'm not allowed to buy anything else) to her dry food, and voila! ^_^ There's lots of protein. And it works for me. ;)

If she's eating too much and gets bloated very easily maybe giving her her own smaller tank would be a good idea that way you can ration her food properly and you won't have to worry about her over eating. Remember bloating can easily turn into swim bladder issues, which can be a inconvenience at best and life threatening at the worst.
