Are they standardised like breeds of some other animals? Or is it just what mixes throw up?
Is there anywhere I can drool over lots of lovely pictures of loads of different coloured bettas?

Its difficult to know exactly what you're going to get out of spawn unless you know the genetic make up of the fish you are spawning.
