i want to buy i really good book on bettas ( no offense you guys) can anyone recommend any

I can't "recommend" it because I haven't read it yet but I did see one at Petsmart on Sunday. You could check it out. Also, I just checked out half a dozen books from the library on aquariums in general. Have you looked at the library yet? If you find one you like you can buy it after.

I just checked out my library online and found two books by searching for "betta" and three more searching for "siamese fighting fish". I requested them so if any are good I'll let you know.

there is only 2 books in my library 0ne is 15 years old the other 20 years old

Bummer. That's what I found when I looked into books about Pygmy goats, could find lots for sale but my library only had one and it was written in the 70's. I was surprised that they had so many about bettas and they looked to be pretty current. Well, I usually get my reserved books within a couple of days so if I find a particular title that is better than the others I'll let you know.
