would a male betta and a wagtail platy get on together in the same tank? just those two fish.

the tank is about 1 and a half ft long, 1 ft deep and half a foot back.

according to the volume calculator your tanks is 41 US gallons, or 162 litres, so you would have a pretty empty tank with just the two fish, you could get a few females and a few wags, or the male and some cory's? the main thing to avoid with bettas is colourful fish, females can be as bad as males but generally aren't

thats no way near a 162 litre tank more like 35L at a guess,

thats no way near a 162 litre tank more like 35L at a guess,
whats the exact measurements of the tank ? it would be nice to give you a correct volume

opps my mistake i am thinking 2 ft  head not with it today, exactl measurements would be best, preferably cm/inches for me

LOL! I was getting my ruler out going "huh? How can that possibly be over 40 gallons???" hehe

was too busy planning on how to get Royal when i was supposed to be sleeping  sorry about my mistake again

:hyper: no problem, it threw me off a bit and i started to doubt my own judgement lol

i think its a 27L, only coz i bought one yesterday, so i suppose im cheating really lol

24x12x10 (inches). its only for the two of them. my wag is getting bullied by my guppies and silver sharks keep having a go at her too. my betta is in his own tank so im thinking of getting them in together, any ideas?

think i am right this time, approx 12 gal? i suppose you could always try him but be prepared to move one if they don't get on

im fully prepared to move the betta to his old tank if things dont work out.

thanks for the help!
