my beautiful baby boy betta got two new room mates today. they have only been together for about an hour. there are a pair of ghost shrimp.
he is chasing them around, and on occasion i see them gaging up on my fish. i have an emergency tank set up in case. but i know they need to settle but i am worried about my rash choice.
what point should i give up and remove the shrimp?

he is a male betta by the way.
he keeps looking at me like "mommy why did you put them in here?

2 weeks ago i bought 20 feeder/ghost shrimp for my oscar, i tried a few in my betta tank, they lasted for a a week but TAJ decided he was hungry and killed and ate them  they were quite small at only 2cm's so thats probably the reason why he ate them, because yesterday i bought 3 amano shrimp for the betta tank they are over an inch and quite bulky and he doesnt even look at them  So i'd suggest putting lquite big shrimp in with him then maybe he won't consider them food.

they were trying to eat each other. i took the shrimp back and bought a new orniment for his tank to make it up to him
