Hi guys

My betta has been in his 10g for over a year now and I was thinking of getting some bottom dwellers after just switching to sand substrate.

Would you recommend 4 Kuhli loaches or 4 Albino Corydora's?

Also I have 2 panda corydoras left in my community tank could I move them into the 10g and would they shoal with the albinos?

Cheers

I think the best thing you could do would be to move the pandas and add more of those.

Different species of cory will shoal othegther, but it's only under 'sufference' as it were; they would be far, far happier with more of their own.

There's also the fact that albino (or bronze, which is the species they are) are one of the larger cories, and are not really suitable for a 10 gallon, IMO.

I thought Bronze/Albino Corydoras may be a bit too big.

I am a bit reluctant to put the Panda's in the Betta aquarium as they prefer cooler tropical temperatures, hence why they were in the Community tank with Platies, Tetras and a BN.

Maybe 4 Kuhlis are the better option then.

I would go kuhli loaches,Albinos can easily reach 3 inches, and would be too much for your 10 gals, plus they like more room to move around in,my albinos use the whole of my 55 gals when they in active mode...
