Betta And Cockatoo Apistos

could i have a group of 5-6 female bettas in with a pair of Cockatoo Apistos in a 54l tank
because i know they can stick up for them selfs but i thought the Cockatoo Apistos might just be a little to agressive

i thought it would but just thought i would ask coz i would like some think coulerfull to go in there but i cant think of nothink
