What ways is there to do this to fill up a 6fter?

add the recomended level of dechlorinator to the tank before adding any water. How many litres are you changing per water change?

Buy a decent dechlorinator, as stated above. Loads of different varieties, though if you're doing big water changes on a 6ft tank you might be best off looking at pond dechlorinator - its more highly concentrated so you can treat more water for the same money.

As for how...if you're running a hose straight into the tank when you're doing a water change, add enough dechlorinator to treat THE WHOLE TANK. If you're doing it the old fashioned way with buckets you just need to add enough to cover the amount you're replacing.

Not sure why the difference but its what I picked up from one of the mod's on here.
