Best Way To Prepare Zucchini?

So I got a lovely zucchini for my Pleco to nom on and was just wondering the best way to prepare it for her and how long I should leave it in for as all I have ever fed my last Pleco which I had for a 3 days before I rehomed was some cucumber?.

You can slightly blanch it if you like other than that rinse, cut into slices and weight it down and you good to go
