How do,
I would have thought bumblebee gobies + nerites followed by the puffers as the puffers are the larger and more aggressive of the 3 species.

Another reason to put the gobies in first is that they are hardy and more likely to survive in the unlikely event that your tank goes through a mini cycle after introducing your fish.

Good luck with your nerites!

thanks very much :)

i was hoping to add the f8`s 1st , lol but hey ho , what you say does make sense , i just need to locate the bumbles now , its ok to add horned nerites that were kept in fw right ?

i was thinking increase the salinity every 2 or 3 days after adding the snails >?

Are the horned nerites sometimes sold as bumblebee nerites and coloured yellow and black? If so then yes they will do fine at low salinities, just increase the SG slowly, say once a week with every water change, I keep my F8's and bumblebee gobies at SG1.003-SG1.005

Good luck with the nerites if you intend them not to be chewed on by the F8s! Mine eat anything and everything snail and shrimp shaped.

lol, ive just put 5 bumble bee gobys in , as i type they are *acclimatizing* ive got 5 horned nerites being sent, not adding any puffs until the snails are either breeding, or well settled in.....
