I've just received my shipment of plants from plantedtanks.co.uk, but won't have time to set up my new tank til the weekend.

Some of them are looking pretty tired! (Came all the way from Singapore). What shall i do with them for the next 48hrs?

My new tank is sitting empty on the living room floor. Shall i just fill it a little with water then just immerse all the new plants in it, maybe with a little bit of ferts? I can put the light on a timer too.

should be fine in a bit of water, in the tank. You could add a couple of drops of ferts, it won't hurt.

Are you not impressed with the plants?

Just interested as i have been pushing plantedtanks.co.uk of late.

Thanks ianho.

In general yes i'm pretty pleased, and they were a steal too. A few of the leaves were looking tired and came away/melted from the plant when i removed them from their bags, but it's really not an issue.

Pretty pleased really :D

I was surprised at how tall my pygmy chain sword is though! It's a good 4" high!
