Best Way To Get Water Crystal Clear? Media?

I have a sand bottom tank, and my water is filled tint particles in th water!

I have an external AQUA PRO filter, but dont know what pads or media to use to get the water crystal clear?


Any ideas?

Filter floss or matting.

I tried using dacron, form quilt linings but that just clogged quite quickly! think ill try the floss!

Works lovely for me the floss, crystal clear water, can't stand my water to look any other way.

You just stuff a bit in between your foam pads (if internal) or as the last (if external)

Awesome price, works a treat

I cheat and rely on plants and UV steriliser
