I currently have one 3 inch oscar in my 75g tank. I am buying another this afternoon of the same size. I will be getting a larger tank this summer (125g) but this is where they will live for the time being. The 3 inch oscar has been in the tank for about a month. What would be the best way to introduce them without major injury to either?

Thanks

grab a sewcond bag from yr LFS. take the first oscar out and out it in the extra bag. Floa tthem both in yur tank and rearrange yur ornaments and rocks and stuff. THen let them both in at the same time.

the problem with that is that then the new oscar could claim the tank fro himself

if you have a nice size qurantine tank put them both in there at the same time so they meet!!

then shift your 75 aorund a bit nd move them both back in.

Well, when I added my Cichlids into my 100g with my Oscar, I took the Oscar out, and moved everything around (like said above), then I released them all back in at the same time. Worked like a charm.

By the way, I've noticed that PVC piping is an AMAZING way to create different territories. I put peices scattered in different spots. My Jag especially keeps close guard on his, rarely leaves them  Silly Jag.
