Hi again. It looks like the gravel vac has some splitting hose, so it's time to replace it. It is a Large Top Fin with a siphon bulb (is that what you call the squeezy thing that starts the suction, instead of doing it with your mouth?) and a 16 inch tube has some splitting hose. However, it sucks, but not in a good way. It routinely falls apart, spewing water everywhere, so a big no on just buying another. We want a vac with a siphon bulb or whatever you call that, so we don't have to go old school and mouth start it. But we need the gravel tube to be at least 16 inches long because the tank is 24 inches tall. Any recommendations that fit the parameters?
(I'd love to do a python, but the tank isn't very near any sink faucets, and the nearest sink faucet is one of those pull out spray things, so you can't attach the python to it.)
