Hi all i was wondering whats the best temp to keep my betta's at i want to have my tank ready for monday when i get my new fishies want to make sure my tanks are all set and ready to have my fishies all happy and nice
i had fish before i set up a new tank for betta and some comunity i was just wanting the best temps for them (books say is nothing compared to what experience says wich is what is here in abundance)
Ok mate just checking you aint throwing him into a tank he will enjoy for a day till the ammonia builds up and burns his lovely fins happened to me before being a bit naive and not realizing how quickly it builds up
no its a brand new tank i let it settle for 2 week before i even tried to set a fish into it then i slowly added some fishies first week 6 neon tetras ( lost 1) week later i added 4 peppered coriadoras and just over a week later about 9 days i added my 4 new females i couldnt resist from the petshop im doing 15% water changes per week at the min and only adding things slowly so that the tank/filter can build up those good bacterias
