Best Substrate For

what do you this is the best substrate for discus, im wanting some plant but not over the top and i love sand but i dont no if the discus colours would look as stunning with sand as say with black quartz gravel but i dont really fancy that again.

just wanted other ppls opinions and what you have in your own tank

Juvy discus, no substrate, not sure why but that is popular with them.

yeah but ppl say no substrate for wen ure breeding but i want it as a nice show/centre piece i want it to look amazing, i cant have a tank with nothing at all they look so bland

and it wont just be discus, ill prolly have a shoal and maybe a few rams, also some plecs =]

get the black sand and get some twisted/normal amazon sword and defo some wood with limnophilia attached to it or the ground [or both!]

P.S Helterskelter is selling loads of limnophilia
