Best Plant For Growing On Wood?

I'm looking to grow a small plant on a piece of wood elevated in my tank. I already have an Anubia happily growing on one piece of wood. Any suggestions for something on my new piece?

java fern or java moss sound good for this

Just ordered some Java Moss from Ebay. Fingers crossed it does the job?

I would say its one of the easiest things to grow, although it can take a while to get going sometimes.

I've actually just cut a bit out of my tank but I wouldn't want to spread my algae problem that I have lol.

Do I just attach it to the wood and hope for the best?

Have you got any fishing line? Wrap it around the wood and that should help introduce it nicely
