At the weekend I purchased 3 panda cory's.

I just want some advice on the best type of food to feed them. I feed my other fish on normal tropical fish food "flake"..but the trouble is my Tetra's & Danio's gobble it up long before any of it gets chance to hit the gravel.

I also use Pleco Wafers twice a week for my Albino Bristlenose...but they don't seen to be intrested in that either.

Wat is the best type of food to use for Cory's and what do you Cory keepers Do ?

Any advise please.

I'll be honest i have the same question at the moment for exactly the same fish. I got some Panda Cory's this week, and while they seem ok, i haven't seen them go for the food i have offered. Also most gets picked off by my rasbs at a higher level.

I have been using Tetra Variety wafers, but breaking them down so they're smaller for them. I know they'd never eat them in one go, but at least they're more manageable for them to pick at. My concern if these cory's are so much smaller than my bronze cory's that i want to make sure the food i offer to them is suitable.

i think while u may not see them go for the food, they def get their fair share. apparently people feed them pellets as they can sink well.

I try to make sure some of the regular fish food gets to the bottom of the tank (I try to divert all the fish to a particular area then put some in at the other end of the tank  )
Apart from that I fee Hikari sinking wafers about twice a week to make sure they get enough food (packet has a picture of a cory on it).

I mix crushed flake with water so that it sinks quicker. You should put in some sinking catfish pellets after lights out to give them a chance.

Hi, I've got Bronze Cory's and I feed them the sinking pellets, they love them and start eating them the minute the are put in the tank. They also have bloodworm as a treat once a week which they also love. Hope this helps. :good:

They eat just about anything that falls to the bottom of the tank. Sinking pellets and most types of fish food.
