What do you reckon is the best food and the best/cheapest place to buy it from?

Personally I think its better to buy your food from your LFS. OK it may be a few pence dearer but it means that a valuable resource for information is available. Also its a lot better to buy your fish from there, rather than online, as you can actually see what your buying and choose the exact fish.

i have a couple cichlids with some rainbows and a pleco
heres what i feed them (not all the same time just a mixture throughout the week)

frozen bloodworms
freeze dried bloodworms
freeze dried brine shrimp
cichlid gold
carnivore pellets
a can of flake (4 types in can, shrimp,potato,algae, and i think some type of cereal)
and once a month i go out and buy a couple dozen ghost shrimp and put them in live for them to chase and eat

its good to have a variety of food and to change it up a little bit

bit of advise, do not buy frozen bloodworms from dodgy online companies lol

I bought 200pks of frozen bloodworm off ebay a couple of years ago. due to being at work I had it delivered to my neighbours.

Unfortunately, the delivery got held up and missed the 24hour delivery period. I got it 3 days late, when I went to pick it up from the neighbour, the
packs had cracked and had been bashed around as they leaked blood all over my neighbours lovely cream carpet......cost me a bit to get it cleaned lol
it looked like we had killed someone in there lol
