I am looking to buy a metal 55 gallon fish tank stand. I prefer metal ones over wood. Do you guys know any really good sturdy ones?

This one seems to get bad ratings because its wobbly and has no center supports

This one is the best one ive seen so far online, do any of you have this one? I at least like how it has center supports

Any other recommendations are welcome. If you know a super wood one id be interested as well as long as its not particle board with poor coating that would bubble easily when wet

I think that the second one looks sturdier and is more appealing.

The 2 that you posted are the only 2 i am aware of. The petco one works really well from what others tell me. I have a pen-plax stand that is going 11 years and it does not wobble. Each pen-plax stand varies and some are horribly made. I worked in a few LFS and from seeing shipments of them i can tell you some come in great shape while others are horrible.

Yep, I've used that second stand before, it worked really well, but I personally like wood more, so I switched to that.

But that stand is sturdy, no wobble, and light weight. It's a good choice if you like the metal stands.

I bought the petco Carmel wood 20 gallon but then returned it because I didn't really like how dark it was and I saw a 29 gallon tank on sale for a great price so I have the petco Tao wood 29 gallon stand

That's a nice looking stand, it would fit my 30 gallon. Is it well made and sturdy? I like the look of it a lot
