Best Fish For Mid To Top Of Tank

Well i currently have a 37 Gallon tank, 5 zebra danio which just go all around the tank and even the on the substrate, 5 yoyo loaches that dominate the bogwood and one bristlenose that seems to boss everyone else around.

my question is, they all seem to chill around the substrate and bogwood.

are there any fish that will accomodate the top/mid areas of my tank?

Praecox rainbows spring to mind, nice and colourful, mainly top/middle dwelling. Shoal of 6-8 should be ok in there.

Fish that prefer the top of the tank are surface feeders, angels, pencil fish, hatchets, gouramis, dont forget that if you have fish prefering the top, others the middle and some the bottom you need to provide food that stays in these areas too. Good idea though, di

mine sit mid water tbh they do go top but they also go to the floor between plants
