Hi all,

my guess is that my tank will be fully stocked now by adding one more Cleaner shrimp, one fish and maybe a Nassarius snail.

I was wondering which fish would at most appreciate Cleaner shrimps?

Damsels probably?

I read that clownfish are often annoyed or freightened by Cleaner shrimp and I would buy only one clownfish as two become agressive against shrimps when they have fry.

My two clownfish LOVE my cleaner shrimp. Almost every time I look aver there the clownfish are bugging the cleaner shrimp... my blenny doesn't pay attention to them at all. And the firefish is afraid of them... they're almost as big as he is!

My clown is scared of the cleaner shrimp but my clownfish is aggresive. My flame angel gets a cleaning every wow and again. But the cleaner wrasse cleaned the fish the best.

my blue tang hardly leaves the side of my cleaner. of course when i first got him he had ich for about a week. everytime i looked over there he was always next to the shrimp and the shrimp would constantly be cleaning him. he doesnt have ich no more at all, yet he still hangs out around the shrimp, and still gets cleaned alot.

the shrimp tried to clean my sailfin blenny once and the response from the blenny was pretty much "what he heck are you trying to do? get away" but then after a little while i would see the blenny over there with it every now and then.

my spotted mandarin got cleaned about 3 or 4 times that i've seen.

clownfish did not like him at all, never went to get cleaned, but they sure didnt like the tang getting cleaned either lol, after a while they just forgot about the tang and left him alone.

I always hear of tangs and cleaner shrimp getting along really well. Personally, I've only had clowns and damsels with cleaners and never seen any relationship between the two creatures.

Laterally compressed fish are the way to go. This means angels, tangs, et cetera. Piscivorous morays and groupers enjoy them as well, as do turtles.

Yeah, and if they weren't endangered and didn't have a complex reproductive strategy, plus needing a tank of a few thousand gallons, you'd hear me recommending them.

These are all minor obstacles in my quest. He will live in my saltwater swimming pool of dreams. It's in the backyard next to the tyrannosaurus terrarium.

my wheelers watchman goby likes to get cleaned but i have never seen anyone else cleaned
