I at present time have an AC110 and an AC70 on my 55 gallon tank that is cycled and running with fish, it does great and keeps the debre off the bottom of the pool filter sand. However I was wondering if I should go with possibly a cannister filter next time or a different type of HOB Filter or should I just stick with AquaClear Filters, I don't have any quarrels with AC Filters and they aren't that hard to clean. I haven't set my other 55 gallon tank up yet, thought I'd get some suggestions first + if I get a cannister filter I don't want to spend an arm and leg for one. I would be spending around 120.00 for an AC110 and AC70 so I wouldn't want to spend much more for a good one, also would 1 AC110 be enough to keep a 55 gallon clean with a stocked tank?

i believe a 110 would be, just the more the better.. canister filters are considered a lot better, but the whole arm and a leg thing is the reason i have two hob filters for my 55gallon
