Best External Filter?

Hello,
 
Hope you can help...looking at buying a new external filter for my 250 ltr tank.  Currently have an All Pond Solutions 1500+ external filter but had loads of problems with it and looking for a new filter
 
Was thinking about the Fluval fx6 and have a budget at around £220
 
Any advice would be much appreciated

Have at look at Maidenhead Aquatics AquaManta range, I have two of the 1500's and like them a lot.

Thanks, have a Maidenhead here in Glasgow - was looking at the 1500 with UV? - would that work in my 250ltr? thanks

Bought the Aquamanta 1500 uv external filter - looks good - now to intergrate into my existing tank - cheers
