I'm a total newbie so please excuse my ignorance.

I've a 17 Gallon tank sitting on a kitchen counter (its feng shui insisted the wife , so location must not change bla bla don't ask...) Planted not too densely and running 2 HOB filters, and a fan for cooling (Live in Malaysia so need it to get 26-27 C). Using 2x15 watt T5 lights at 10 hours daily. Have a proper substrate layer with soil at the bottom then gravel on top..probably 2.5 inches.

I would love to upgrade into Canister filters but have no space since its basically sitting on a kitchen cabinet.

I'm using a bell CO2 upside down cannister with disposable cans, but now reading up online realize its a poor method. What choices do I have to improve diffusion? I hear HOBs degas the CO2, but I don't really have a choice. And then there's the fan.

Should I get a Pressurized tank and then use one of those glass diffusors and try to put them near the HOB outflow? Or should I be considering reactors or other methods?
