hi everyone,
im looking around for a betta and you guys are very smart about bettas so you guys probably know the best place to buy a betta? If you could reply your ideas on the best place to buy a betta it would be awesome.

im located in the U.S

I get mine from Petco I recently go a double tail male for 5 dollars and 40 cents it is red with a florescent teal on it

petco generally has a better selection of tail-types if you wanted something "fancy" (as opposed to regular veiltail variety), at least near me in NY. Although the shop around me doesnt take very good care of their stock. Shop around and look for the healthiest stock and go from there. Take your time too. Youll find somebody you cannot resist taking home.

yeah i went to petco and was gonna get a betta that reminded me of my other one then figured out it was 15 dollars so i got the 5 40 one

yeah petco was my first option and what kind of betta costed 15 dollars?

a double tail halfmoon there was also a 16 dollar one a halfmoon double tail plakat i think

We have a really good Petsmart near us that I like a lot. Seems to always have healthy and pretty bettas when I'm there (which is quite often lol).

the petsmart near me is pretty old and doesnt keep good care of what they have.

Really do they alt least get good shipments

for bettas no they just started carrying a decent size of female before they one had like 5 at the most. there other fish stock is pretty good. but in advise they arnt the best
