Hi All,

As title suggests, I would like some help with choosing some new bulbs for my tank. Also, as the title suggests, I haven't the first idea about what is needed!

I have a Juwel Delta corner tank (150L) and the info I have got from the bulbs is this: (I have 2) 24", 61cm, 20W T8 Glo Aqua-Glo. I'm really sorry, I'm sure either none of that is useful or most of it makes no difference!

My green cabomba has to go as the light doesn't reach the bottom and my loaches eat them anyway! Since removing most of the cabomba, my anubias has flourished, and my elodea and java fern is still dong fine.

I can't help feeling that my lighting is rubbish, so while I don't want to be completely 'techy' about it, I would like to put a decent light in there for the plants and fish!

Any help appreciated.

Hi
your lighting isn't too rubbish. If you don't want to be too techy then why not just choose plants that can handle low lighting.
try reading through this list..You've got anubias, java fern and elodea growing ok? Try Crypts, Mosses & Amazon swords ? They will grow, just more slowly.
I don't know what fish you keep, but some will appreciate more subdued lighting.
Hope this helps

Hi, thanks so much for replying! Yep, the rest are thriving. Even more so now that I have removed the cabomba. I will do some more studying! :thanks:
