Bouncing off the walls of the tank can be toxins in the tank but I doubt its that if only one fish are showing the signs.

I haven't been able to see his poo but my other fish seem normal. Not white or stringy, nothing moving in it. The gourami's cheeks are still red though. Maybe they have always been this way. How long could he live if it was some infection?
I'm not sure if it's swim bladder disease. He only has trouble swimming if he crashes into things a lot.
Would Pimafix work if he had any kind of bacterial infection?

No pimafix is no good.
You need marcyn plus if in the united states.
Uk anti internal bacteria med by interpet.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.

Ok with having the inflamed cheeks I would add the bacterial med.
