I’m in the process of getting my first tank up and running. I’ve got a 100L tank on the way.
My queries at this point relate to the other items. From reading up on reviews I am either looking at the tetratec ex800 plus or ideally the 1200 model. My thinking is that I should go for the larger model due to the possibility that I may want a larger tank in the future and it will future proof this? But then I’ve also read that the current may be too strong for my tank size so any knowledge would be appreciated.
I’m planning on coupling this with a hydor 300w in-line heater with a controller, again possibility to heat a larger tank.
Im also looking at a fluval aqua sky 2.0 light that I’m hoping will be ok with some beginner level plants.
Does this sound like a sensible startup set that should be pretty foolproof?
