Looks very nice afterwards :) (not bad before either)...would the diftwood not still look good in the new layout?

Do you like it? It's in my 5.5 gallon newt tank right now, I'm just trying to switch things around...

yeah I think the driftwood would still be good in the new layout :) might be worth experimenting...post another pic if you do try it :)

glo lights from ebay right? I want some of them for my tank.
Great job by the way. ;)

Thanks for the comments guys, keep 'em coming... And the bulbs I am using are the mini compacts on the right. http://www.all-glass.com/products/lighting/lighting.html Costs a bit, but well worth it. Definitely recommended for any small tank!

I am planning on making this onto a dwarf puffer speices tank, so I was thinkng of making a slate cave or two. Doesn't need to be a cave, just some pieces of slate thrown together so that it forms some caves.

Is it alright if I do this on the right side or the left? I'm still waiting for the two Hygrophila difformis (wysteria?) stems to grow out on the left, as well as the two sword plants in front of the rotalia. Any more recommendations on what plants to get?

So anyone have any suggestions on the slate cave? Right or left? Keeping in mind the overall look of the tank after everything has grown out, especially those 2 sword plants.

That's another reason I didn't keep the driftwood in there now, as you can't see the swords when they do grow out, and it makes for very little space for any slate cave...

the driftwood looks good in there, but I see your point if you are going to make a slate cave. I think the cave would fit nicely to the right between the two plants there.
