Pics of my 10 gallon... before when the plants were doing SO great...
And after after they all started to die and I had to take them all out... so sad looking back at what it used to look like.

And after.... water is UBER cloudy b/c I had just added in laterite and did a big water change...

I have no idea what happened. Just all of a sudden all of the plants started to die. It looked like a mess with all of the dead cambomba leaves everywhere.

Now though we've gotten some laterite and getting new plants so hoping it will look good again one day heh

Not sure about the red gravel.

Looks like they were malnourished. The Laterite will help with that, try to addsome liquid ferts also.

I like it so that's all that matters....


I've added in liquid ferts since we've gotten the plants. They just started dieing even though I was still adding in the ferts.... *shrugs*
I plan on getting some root tablets as well along with whatever else looks good heh.
Might try making my own CO2 thing with the coke bottle etc one of these days for the tank.

What sort of lighting does the tank have? And how did you plant them?

What do you mean how did I plant them? I just put the tips after taking off the leaves at the bottom into the gravel (the cambomba). Maybe half an inch to an inch into the gravel..
The marble queens were in the gravel as well.
They were all doing fine until recently.

I'm not sure how many watts the light bulbs are... There are 2 of them and I got them at walmart in their fish section. They're those flurescent light bulbs. Cost I think 3 or 4 dollars a piece. Might be 10watts per? I can't remember
