Been Using Wrong Ph Test,ph,8 With Clown Loach?

Hi,a few days ago i realized my tetra ph test was marine not freshwater,i got the test online,dont know if they sent wrong one or if i choose it,anyway ive been testing with that for 6 months or so,my real ph is 8,i thought 7.7 was high when i had wrong test,so 8 is like hell,ive added peat in the filters, does anyone keep clown loach in this ph range!,id like to bring down ph to 7,

If your loach has been doing fine in your normal routine for 6 months, why change things now? Stability is key.

Some are ok,but had some problems lately,maybe the ph is stressin my clowns,i hear u on the stable system though
