It's still only on the lumps on the lip status, so it's obviously fairly stable, but I can't get rid of the columnaris spots, about 3 tetra have it and one danio, and seeing as the danio is easier to monitor i keep an eye on its lump.....which goes up and down in size but hasn't yet gone.

Have been treating with myxazin by waterlife.....pimafix and melafix.....and still nothing....

any suggestions...PLEASE?!?!

especially as I need to return my tetra to the LFS, and can't until they are well again!

I cured it with 25% daily water changes and added aquarium salt one table spoon for every 10 litres of water, clean water is far better than most meds and the salt helps heal the effected area the fish's immune system will take care of the rest.

may try that, i've heard mega clean water can cure it, i've already got aquarium salt in my tank, but have been sticking to weekly changes......
also been considering possibly using interpet's no.8 treatment......although to be honest i think it#s the pimafix that's been stopping it spreading and actually getting to rotting mouths

Before you try any other treatments try this Myxazin made by waterlife. Its a great med and treats alot of alements

that's what i've been treating with for the past nearly 3 weeks, I think maybe it's been helping as the spots have not really spread, they just get bigger then smaller again
