SPAWNED 24/07 - HATCHED 25/07

The tank
60 litre tank divided in 2 - approx 15 litre and 45 litre - water depth lowered to approx 5 inches
Temp 30-32 degrees
ph 7
In the 15 litre section is the heater and filter usually there is a tube allowing the water to circulate completely around the tank but now i'm breeding the tube is removed and the filter is still running for the moment

I placed a bit of bubble wrap in the tank so Beefa could build a nest , i used a feeding ring to hold the bubble wrap in place just in case when i was catching Tart i accidently knocked the bubble wrap and wrecked the nest

The Wrap 24/07 - they were wrapping from before 10.30 am and ended at 16.20 - by which time both were knackered

He has now moved the nest out side of the bubble wrap weighted by the feeding ring

UPDATE
Today at 6pm - 25/07 -- 26 hours after spawning ended i noticed fry - daddy is doing a very good job trying to keep them under control

FRY- fry are being fed on dry food - NO live food - 4x a day -
Dry food consists of a mix of these 1 choice per feed - ZM 000 and 00 moving on to 0 lol , hikari first bites , red crumb , super high pro + fry , DUSTED - spirulina , algae , seaweed , bloodworm , brineshrimp and daphnia

Oh wow what fantastic pics especially for us that habvent bred ourselves! Congrats on the new babes, they look like they are growing fast! What cuties :)

Wow. Very nice. You take some beautiful pictures!!! No idea how to get mine that clear. But the babies look wonderful!
 
Now that is a Cool Idea using the feeding ring.
