are bumble bee gobies bubble nesters cause i have 2 in my 20 and there are bubbles all over the top.also they are both haging out near the surface more.they are still in fresh so it could be possible.

thnks

nope, i dont think so. i hope you know that the gobies you have are probably brackish, not freshwater. true freshwater bb gobies are pretty hard to find. oh yeah, and your future figure 8 tank, you should change puffers to puffer, cause i dont think there is enough room for more than one full grown one, and ive heard these guys are pretty aggressive(75% sure)

According to Baensch, the eggs are laid beneath rocks or inside pots. But I'm sure a google would bring up eyewitness accounts of breeding; I know I read one not long ago, but can't remember where.

They most definitely aren't bubble nest breeders.

excessive bubble formations on the surface could point to a water quality issue. the bubbles are caused by an increase in surface tension of the water this could also be as a result of too much TDS (total disolved solids)

I would recomend several partial water changes (around 10-15%) every day for the next 5 days to, hopefully, cure this problem.

ok.yhank u all.and i have talked to several puffer keepers on how much i am loading my tank up with dead corals and they said if it had tons of hiding spots,i can do it.im having my grandparentd bring more back from florida
