I have many that have run without replacement parts etc. for YEARS my currentl oldest is the first edition plunger primer model plus they are virtually silent and, if, anything were to beark the spare parts are very cheap!

oh forgot the worse part of the APS the ******* handles on the basket every single time without fail snap off....evry single time! tge bottom one i have to remove with pliers! Ragggeeee
