Bargain Co2 Units!

Ive just bought a CO2 set from Germany on ebay for £68 including delivery and recieved it in 3 working days The kit includes 500g co2 bottle, Regulator, Check valve, Glass diffuser & co2 hose. They seem to specialise in aquatics, but the only downfall is the instructions are in german but its easy to figure out!

Bargin basement! Whats the website? Seems to be lots of bargins coming out of german, got my Eheim 2211 cheap from there. Arr the wonders of the EU

The only thing is, what make is the cylinder? I only know places that fill up JBL ones.

bump to Sam! i got a jbl cylinder and i bet u`ll strugle filling it. If its not a JBL i doubt you will even be able to fill it.

EVERYWHERE (i have rang about 10) in my local area will not touch a cylinder if it is not their own! And i have yet to find anywhere to sell 500g cylinders. I ended up getting a 8kg cyclinder last longer anyway!!

Not to put a downer on it tho mate!! fantastic buy, u could have spent more than that on the rest of the accessories on their own!!!! Worse case sinario, just buy a big bottle and attach your reg to that!!

Aquatics Online will refill them. 9.99 plus postage plus your postage to them-not cheap but if you are in a hole, also up to 3 weeks, but should be quicker if thet have spares in stock.

I take mine to a guy who featured in PFK, hes based in carguelly(its welsh,cant spell welsh) good planted tank shop, well better than most.

My bottle is a 500g bottle(i think) and he fills it for a fiver.

Yes Andys Aquatics, they have 500g units refilled every week so you just go in and swap yours for a full one and its £12.

Does anyone know how to work the bubbles per minute on a 96litre tank?

the bottle might be a standard fittment, the only difrence with the JBL is it a biger female fitting on the bottle than it is on a standard, so you might be lucky and get it filled without a problem.
