Barbs standing on tails

I have been home all day today and have noticed all 3 of my black spot barbs in a stationary, vertical position, looking like they are standing on their tails. Is this normal behaviour for this fish?

They appear to be healthy and when I approach the tank they assume a normal swimming position and head for the front of the tank, expecting to be fed.

Any ideas?

i've noticed that mytiger barbs do this, perhaps it is a barb trait

everytime i go to my lfs, the tiger barbs do that to

sometimes looking, sometimes looking down

i think barbs just assumer weird resting poritions, kinda like bettas
