Barbs Or Tetras

are there any amazonian barbs out there?

or, the other option, are there any tetras that won't get eaten by my pictus catfish or BGK?

There are no South American Cyprinids at all.

There are many tetras that are to big to be eaten by a Pictus, I know nothing about BGK's though. If Silver Dollars can survive in CFC's tank of monsters, I suspect they would with a BGK for example.
