Barbs and Angel

Just wonderin if its okay to put tiger Barbs with an angelfish. Not sure if they are compatable. Thanks for the help

Tiger barbs are horrible fin nippers and are attracted to any long flowing fins which Angels have Tiger barbs need to be in groups of 6+ to keep down the aggression and Angels need a tall tank 18 inches to accomadate their fins. I think the size of your tank will help determine what to add, but I don't think the two would be compatible

They are certainly fin nippers, but keep enough of them and they'll keep most of the nipping to themselves.

Consider Cherry barbs, they are much more relaxed then most other barbs, and will leave the Angels alone.

However, cherry barbs aren't big on schooling so consider checker barbs or even rosy barbs (a little nippy so keep in a large shoal) or, my absolute favourite with angels, go for a shoal of scissortails. These rasboras grow to around 3 inches and look beautiful with angel fish.
