Barbs and Angel Fish

Right now in my 55 gallon tank i have 8 tiger barbs, a red fin shark and a peacock eel. I'd like to get some Angel fish, but i hear tiger barbs bite at their fins. Is this true even with lots of barbs? What if i got 2 more tiger barbs? Has anyoen had luck?

I have 20 small to medium sized angels with 8 rosey barbs in a 50 gallon and they seem to be fine. I know, rosey barbs are not tiger barbs but they do behave similarly. From what I have heard and learned about, the more barbs you have the better. This is because they will keep the nipping to themselves in their large shoal instead of including other tank mates because they are borred.
