as soon as i fed my fish this morning, my rosy barb took a bite an completly fliped out!! it did i'm guessing 5 backflips in under a second while spinning in tight circles, this happened for about 30 seconds in random bursts. it then droped to the bottom breathing heavy, and upside down.

Hi Scott....what are your water readings such as Nitrate/Nitrite/Amonia etc..? If you can post these readings we might be able to isolate whats happening. Right now i'd do a water change...20-30% will definately help as water changes (done properly) can never hurt...and All barbs will thrive in tanks which recieve small frequent water changes.

You sure it didn't get any food in it's gills? Or stuck down it's throat?

yea, we need your water spec readings. I've seen fish flip out over ammonia in the water.
