Banjo Catfish Skin Shed?

my banjo catfish recently shed its skin. it has done this once before is this normal? its just like a snake when it sheds it skin it all comes off in 1 and hes still happy in the tank! has any one elses done this? summat fishy

Yes it is perfectly normal for this species, you are very lucky to have seen it as the skins are usually eaten during the night.

oh rite! thanks CFC i was just wondering if it had anything to do with my water chemisty thats all as i had just added activated carbon and i thought it had triggered it
