I have a bamboo shrimp hes been in my care for a couple months now hes been "collecting" his food by a current my filter disposes and hes been pooping with is probably a sign that hes eating well. He just recently moved from where he usually stays(under a tree trunk decor) to my fry mash net. Hes been there for a while now and just finished molting there also. Any idea why he moved maybe the amano shrimp kicked the poor guy out :/. It is 3 vs 1, just figured I'd put it out there if any of you guys got any tips & tricks on maybe giving him treats. I usually crush up some dried bloodworms and mix them with some tank water and squirt it near him when hes feeding.

He may have moved for the molt. Add some algae flakes crushed up to the syringe when you feed him. They eat a lot of free floating algae in nature.

Edit: typo

I've never successfully managed to get mine to eat anything I care to crush up for him, but given that I've had him 8 months and he's still going, I guess he must be finding enough to eat floating about my tank.

Yeah bamboo shrimp are really nice, I was reading up on them and it said that depending on their color that's what their mood is. Sorta like a marine mood ring xD. When I bought mine he was brownish now he's red lol. It says that red means he's happy. He's been red for a couple months now.

He's so big but he won't even harm a fry xD might buy him a friend I think he's lonely they like to be kept in 2s or more from what I read.
