Would they be ok in my 65G tank in my profile, i like them and shrimps are interersting to watch i already have amano and thought that a new species might be as interesting? Ive only ever seen them 2 species in my lfs on a regular base, and mayb i think i saw tiny tiny cherry shrimp but they will just get eaten i think.

I'm condident they will be absolutey fine

Ps: forget the cherry shrimp - the will almost certainly end up a tasty tiny snack ;)

YAY :D I think theyll love the wood and have fun crawling all around it, me thinks i might be off to the lfs this weekend!

I started with Amano Shrimps and added a Bamboo Shrimp about 3 months. They are fine in a community tank. They are about twice the size of the anamo shrimp and not quite as active. They are really cool filter feeders and will stand there facing the current with their filters fannned out absorbing particles from the water and then feeding it into their mouths.

Basically if your amano shrimp get on ok with your fish then the bamboo will too.

Highly recommended.

Don't forget to be careful when moving them as they are amazing jumpers.
