Balloon Molly With Whitespot

As title, it's a 60L with 3 mollies, 3 balloon mollies and 3 swordtails....i know this is probably overstocked but it's my dad's tank and a friend is giving me a 3ft tank in the next few weeks so they will all be moving then into the bigger tank plus i am running two filters on it. It's nice and clear to see cos she's a black fish.

Anyway I have some Protozin here to treat it anyway but i just wanted to check that I can dose at full dose. I will try and get the temp up but cos it's so cold i can't get it over 26 degrees at the moment.

The tanks not over stocked with just the livebearers in the tank.

You can use full dose with livebearers.
You need to get temp up to 30.
Increase aeration, as the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.
Remove black carbon from filter if you use it.

Thanks Wilder, Aquadvisor told me the tank was overstocked but wooo glad it's not. I've got the heater on 28 at the moment and i can't get it over 26 will turn it up some more and see if that helps or i've got an old heater i could put in?

There isn't any carbon in there, i took it out before putting the new filter in and took it out of the stingray ages ago and replaced it with biobeads

How many gallons is the old heater for.
If you add the old heater set it to the lowest setting. Keep an eye then on tank temp.

It's for a 60L it's the old one out of my tank. The one we have in the tank at the moment has a built in digital thermometer in it anyway so keeping track of the temp will be easy. Will try that then

I've cranked the heater up to 32 in the hope it'll get there. I've got it up to 27.5 at the moment and it seems to be climbing slowly but we've had electrical problems this morning that have hampered my efforts lol. If it doesn't make it i'll add in the second heater and hope for the best

now you say its a white spot...
is it on the anal fins?
if so its pregnant
im not sure if the pregnant spot indication is suppoesed to be white or black though....i always hear people say "found out it was pregnant when i saw the white spot near the anal fins"
or
"the indication that its pregnant is a black spot near the anal fins"
its hard to tell with abdomen size for a balloon because its always bloated-looking anyways.

No it was a few tiny white spots, one on the side of the fish, one near the eye and one on the other side of the fish tho they seem to be clearing up quite quickly which is good. Tank is almost up to 30, i've set the heater to 32 just to try and get the temperature to climb to 30! Bloody cold weather lol
