Balloon Molly Seems Paralyzed...help!

My female balloon molly seems to be paralyzed on one side as she does not move her fin on on side and it just sticks out looking very stiff. She stays in one place near the surface of the water in the corner of the tank. When prodded she swims about with only one fin and tail functioning. She also seems to have an extra long growth like thing sticking out next to her paralyzed fin.

What might be wrong with her? And what should I do?


I'm sorry I meant the extra growth is circled in red and the paralyzed fin is circled in yellow.
