i have had 2 females and one male balloon molly since having my tank and as of yet am yet to see any babaies what so ever in 7 months. i thought my male might be impotents so bought another male and yet again no babies.

it cant be that they are all eaten as i have been vigrously watching them as they never east any of the guppies or platys

is there any special requirements to get these fish to mate, cause i just cant do it

any help is great

thats really weird all i can say is that maybe you don't have any females, i've kept ballon mollies and this has happened with me once.

do you have plants in your tank? if not then the fry could be eaten very quickly.

they are defo females have had them checked by two other peeps and the tank is well planted big and small, i am at my ends tether i have no idea

1 male to 3 females is generally recommended, so 2 and 2 may mean that your girlies are getting harrassed and stressed by the blokeys. When they're stressed it's unlikely that they'll reproduce. If you have space I would get another 3 or 4 females.

you know, i had this problem with one pair of my guppies too. This male had just ZERO interest in the female! Anyway, i tried feeding them blood worms to induce mating, doesn't work. Tried water change, didn't work either.
But this trick worked for me, I put the male in another tank for about 3-4 days, and after that, add the female. And woo hoo, the male went crazy over her. And i mean CRAZY  :) (I m not sure whether this is a trick but the male was the only one in the tank)
Good LucK! :fun:
