HAs anyone actually had any balloon fry? I got 3 female and one male today and was just curious to see if they do actually do breed. It looks hard judging by their body shape

it extremely hard to notice b/c of the body shape but yep they do breed, its always a good idea to have three or more female balloons so there is something that you can compare one or 2 fish with but this female you compare them with would have to be not pregnant which is almost impossible if shes in with a male, swings and round abouts im afraid :good: ive kept female mollies with male platy and female platy with male mollies before and breed only the selected ones i want to, so this gave me a female that wasnt pregnant to compare my other females with.

Yeah, i had a pair of balloon mollies. They were both yellow, and the female was really fat.

Although, it is really hard to distinguish whether or not they are pregs. Have a look and see if you can find a big black spot behind them... I think it is a case of luck with these fish! :)

yeah my balloon molly gave birth to about 20, funny thing was i didnt know it was pregnant
