Balas In A 10 Gallon!

My friend has no idea hoe much trouble she's in! She has 2 bala sharks in a 10 gallon aquarium. The only thing she's going to get is a 40 gallon! I've tried to warn her but she doesn't listen. Wat do you think I should do about it? Tell her to take them back even though she's very attached to the?

Why not suggest other fish that your friend could keep instead of the Balas?

Well they need to be kept in something more like 100G, in a group of 6+, grow over a foot long and need plenty of swimming space.

Can you see any issues there

In otherwords, an adult Bala Shark by itself is nearly the size of a 10 gallon tank.

Advise to bring something else othere then balas. Mollies platies, can have many thingin the 10 gal tank but not bala shark.
